The Challenge

Poet and Know It! needed to create a web based version of their online rhyming dictionary for Windows Phone 7. This challenge meant finding ways to transfer data between a massive word database and individual phones in the most efficient way possible.

The Solution

Code Authority proposed a cloud based web service API for Poet and Know It! which would enable the Windows Phone 7 application to request data as necessary without storing large word databases on the phone.

The Poet and Know It! Rhyme Dictionary API is a robust and extensible API which can be used not only on Windows Phone 7, but on other platforms such as Android and iPhone.
